Stanley Forman Reed, 1884-1980. Associate Justice, United States Supreme Court, 1930-1957. Extra fine condition photograph of Justice Reed in his judicial robe, inscribed and signed For Ewing Sadler, Esq. / Stanley Reed and dated Feby 1, 1949. Accompanied by secretarial letter of transmittal.
This is a beautiful 8" x 10" portrait of Reed by Harris & Ewing of Washington, D.C., whose stamp appears in the lower right corner of the image. It is still in the original blind embossed Harris & Ewing presentation folder.
This is a beautiful photograph of Reed, who has boldly inscribed and signed it in black fountain pen. Both the photograph and the accompanying transmittal letter are in extra fine condition.
